Speed Pool

Game Information

The objective of this game, like all the others on uVme is to score as high as possible. This can be achieved in this game by completing it in the quickest time. The game is completed when the black ball has been potted.

The mouse is used for basic positioning of the cue and a click is used to set it. Although small adjustments can be made with the arrow keys on the keyboard.

The power is set by dragging the “Power” bar to the desired level on the HUD and then releasing it. More advanced features such as ‘English’ and ‘Massé’ are available and will alter the path of the cue ball. The ‘English’ and ‘Massé’ should be set before the power bar is touched.

The use of the ‘Cancel’ button next to the ‘Power’ bar allows you to start your again from the beginning.

The first balls that you should pocket are the red ones and can be potted in any pocket in any order. Only once they have all been pocketed can the black ball be pocketed.

The game is declared over only when you have potted the black ball legally or if the timer has run out.

Your score is calculated from how much time you have left when you pot a ball. This is totalled up with each ball potted and a time bonus is also available if you pot the black before the timer runs out.

Points can be lost though but fowling. Fowls can be made by potting the cue ball, potting the black ball when red balls are still on the table, hitting the black ball first when there are still red balls on the table and missing all of the balls completely.
